This workshop will inform delegates of the conception and implementation of a specialist Refugee Service for Hampshire Children’s Services. This presentation will:

  • explore the journey of our separated children into their care settings
  • explain the features of our care planning strategy
  • outline the theory grounding our work
  • outline our view on the importance of a specialist service for this unique cohort
  • explore foreseeable challenges
  • outline our commitment to always seeing the child first
(UASC – Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking Children).
