Taking place from 25-26 September 2018 at the Business Design Centre in London, Community Care Live will provide two full days of CPD and essential learning, covering key topics across children and families’ social work, adult social care and social work management. So whatever your area of focus, interest or expertise, there’s sure to be something in our comprehensive programme which will make a visit to Community Care Live worthwhile.
This year, we will continue to provide free content in our seminar programme* covering the key issues across social work practice and management. Topics this year will include strengths-based practice, working with domestic abuse perpetrators, sexual abuse in the family and supporting people with learning disabilities who develop dementia. These practice and management seminars will continue to be free of charge for all registered social workers and local authority commissioners and workforce leads†. What’s more, our co-located exhibition will give you plenty of opportunity to meet and network with a number of relevant local authorities, service providers and recruiters.
Following feedback from delegates and increasing demand, we have introduced the opportunity to reserve your space at all of our legal learning sessions. There will be a small charge for each of the eight legal sessions.
* Free seminars are on a first come, first served basis, and are subject to maximum numbers. Places in the sessions cannot be guaranteed. The programme is subject to change.
