Where is the event?

The event will take place at the Business Design Centre in London. PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A FACE TO FACE EVENT, THERE WILL BE NO ONLINE OPTIONS TO VIEW SESSIONS.


Are the seminars recorded?

No, the sessions will not be recorded to listen back to after the event. This is a face to face event and there will be no options to view sessions online.


Where can I find out information on accessibility to the event?

Hearing loop systems were operational in all of our seminar rooms.


What is the event about?

Community Care Live is an essential learning opportunity which is free to attend for registered social workers and local authority directors, commissioners and workforce leads. The two-day event has a wide-ranging seminar programme and legal learning sessions*, as well as an exhibition where you’ll find key organisations in the sector including local authorities, service providers and charities. Is there a fee to attend?

Community Care Live offers free entry to the event, exhibition and to the main seminar programme for all registered social work and care professionals. For full details of who is eligible to attend for free please click here.

For those that don’t qualify to attend the event for free there is an event entry fee of £395 + VAT, which allows you access to the event, exhibition and free seminar sessions (but not the legal learning sessions, which you can pay for in addition). In addition to the free elements, our legal learning sessions carry a fee.

The fees for 2024 are below. 

Launch offer for 250 tickets only: £15 + VAT per session (this offer will run until 28 June or until all 250 tickets have been booked if this is sooner)

Early Bird: £25 + VAT per session from 29 June (or earlier if all 250 launch offer tickets have been sold sooner) until 19 July

Standard fee: £35 + VAT per session from 20 July

On site fee: £40 + VAT (applicable on event days and and when paying at the registration desk)

Please note the legal sessions are non-refundable and non-transferable.


Can I pay by invoice for legal learning sessions?

No, payment is strictly by debit or credit card only.


Who should attend? 

Community Care Live is offered free of charge to all registered social workers, thanks to the involvement of our sponsors and exhibitors. Delegates must be registered social workers, local authority social care commissioners or directors or those who work closely with these services. For full details on whether you are eligible to attend for free please click here. Individuals who do not meet this criteria but would still like to attend are welcome to do so, and will be required to pay the event delegate fee during the online registration process of £395 + VAT (payable by credit or debit card only).

How can I register for the legal learning sessions?

Registration for Community Care Live 2024 will open in early June. Legal learning sessions can be booked online during the registration process, or at a later date by clicking on 'add legal learning sessions' in your confirmation email. Entry to legal learning sessions is only available to those that have pre-paid for the sessions.


Is an event guide available?

The 2024 event guide will be available near the event date. You can download the 2023 event guide here.

   

Can I pre-book to attend sessions from the seminar programme?

All of our free-to-attend seminar sessions are available on a first-come, first-served basis only.

The legal learning sessions are paid for and should be booked online in advance, which will guarantee you entry into your selected sessions.


I am a student; can I visit the event?

Free attendance is available for ALL social work degree students and those in higher levels of education. It is also free to attend for Occupational Therapy students. 


Can I get a copy of the speaker presentations? 

Yes. A link to the presentations that we have been given permission to share by the speakers, will be emailed to all attendees after the event. Please allow up to two weeks for this to be sent out. 

   

Can I get a certificate of attendance/CPD certificate?

Yes.

The sessions at Community Care Live have been assessed by the CPD Group, to ensure they hold all the fundamental elements to meet professional CPD principles.

By attending Community Care Live this October, you can then apply for your personal certificate to include in your CPD log ready for re-registrations with Social Work England, or the HCPC for Occupational Therapists.

How do I receive my certificate?
Following the event all those that attended will be emailed a link to download their personal certificate.

   

What COVID restrictions and safety measures will be in place at Community Care Live 2024?

While there are no restrictions in place at the moment regarding COVID 19, we continue to encourage regular hand washing and to wear a mask if you wish. We also ask that you refrain from attending if you are displaying any symptoms. We will continue to follow any government guidance that may be implemented and will update this advice as necessary. 

   

Can I bring my child/baby to the event?

No. We are unable to allow any one under thew age of 18 years old into the event. There are no creche facilities at the venue.

  

Is attendee data available to buy?

No.  We have recently become aware of a series of fraudulent phishing emails directed mostly to speakers and exhibitors offering Community Care Live attendee data for sale.  We are not affiliated with any of these companies and attendee data is not available to any third party either via these fraudulent operations or directly from ourselves.  We recommend against clicking any of the links within these emails and simply delete or report them to the ICO. If you are concerned, please get in touch.
