Where can I find out information on accessibility to the event?
More information to follow.
What is the event about?
Community Care Virtually Live is an essential learning opportunity which is free to attend for registered social workers and local authority directors, commissioners and workforce leads. The two-day event has a wide-ranging seminar programme and legal learning sessions*, as well as an expo booth area where you’ll find key organisations in the sector including local authorities, service providers and charities. Is the event still free to attend?
Community Care Virtually Live will continue to offer free entry to the virtual event and to the main seminar programme for all registered social work professionals. For full details of who is eligible to attend for free please click here. In addition to the free elements, our Legal learning sessions carry a fee. There will be a fee of £15 + VAT for each of the eight legal sessions if booked online in advance (£12 + VAT if booked during the Early Bird discount period). For attendees paying on the day the fee will be £18 + VAT. Payment is by credit/debit card only.
Why are you charging for the legal learning sessions?
In previous years at our 'in real life' events, our legal sessions have seen demand exceed room capacity, leaving many delegates disappointed that they could not attend their chosen session(s). In light of this, along with delegate feedback and additional costs associated with inviting the very best legal experts to speak, we introduced a fee per seminar for the legal learning sessions at Community Care Live London in 2018.
Can I pay by invoice for legal learning sessions?
No, payment is strictly by debit or credit card only.
Who should attend?
Community Care Virtually Live is offered free of charge to all registered social workers, thanks to the involvement of our sponsors and exhibitors. Delegates must be registered social workers, local authority social care commissioners or directors or those who work closely with these services. For full details on whether you are eligible to attend for free please click here. Individuals who do not meet this criteria but would still like to attend are welcome to do so, and will be required to pay the event delegate fee during the online registration process of £395 + VAT (payable by credit or debit card only). Registration will be open shortly. If you have any queries, please email us at email@example.com
How can I register to attend?
A link will soon be available to complete the online registration form. Registering gives you free entry to the event on both days including the expo booths, along with access to the free seminar programme. When registering you will be given the option of reserving and paying for a place at our legal learning sessions. Alternatively, you can pay for a session on the day, but this will be at a rate of £18 + VAT, and a place cannot be guaranteed (virtual seminar rooms do still have a capacity limit). Please note that entry to the eight legal learning sessions will only granted to those that have pre-paid for the session.
