Co-creating our Wiltshire Vision

10/11/2023 13:00 - 14:00

Join Wiltshire Council and Wiltshire Centre for Independent Living (Wilts CIL) for a conversation to hear how co-production is being embraced across the county.

We have facilitated a number of ‘Pioneer Visioning Events’, these events included disabled people, their carers, and council staff. The feedback is being used to develop a shared vision and framework for adult social care, making sure that disabled people in our communities have what they need to live their lives well. This will support a vision of how services can be developed not only now, but in the future.

Over 2000 people told us what a good life means to them. We want to ensure that disabled people in our communities are fully involved in service development going forward. Hear how our journey is progressing and what we have learnt to date.

Learning outcomes:

  • Understand the importance of co-production from an expert by experience and service perspective.
  • Learn how to imbed co-production across whole service areas and the importance of developing the right dialogue.
  • Understand how to develop the right vision to imbed co-production, both now and when considering future services.
  • How to develop vision into action in your area.
