Co-production as a process is gaining popularity within strategic projects and service development. However, its principles and values can also be useful for increasing involvement within an individual’s care and support. By reflecting on her lived experience and academic knowledge of co-production, Rebecca Regler will share why participation from people with lived experience is so important and how it can be increased at a strategic and individual level. People with lived experience are experts in their own lives and that expertise - combined with professional expertise - can lead to better outcomes.
Attend this session to:
• Increase your knowledge of co-production principles and practice
• Understand why increasing participation is so important
• Get a lived experience perspective on improving social work practice
