How's your father? A theatre show about challenged and challenging dads

10/10/2023 15:30 - 17:00

How’s Your Father? is a theatre show based on academic research about fathers’ experiences of child protection services and family justice, undertaken by Dr Georgia Philip from the University of East Anglia (UEA). The show is a unique collaboration between UEA, director and theatre maker Simon Floyd, Norwich based charity Menscraft and Dads Matter, a service for fathers provided by Norfolk County Council.

The show tells the stories of four men’s experiences and their encounters with authority. Each story poses different questions on what it means to be a father and what challenges fathers can face and cause.
