Cafcass welcome you to a learning event on how we work to engage children, so their voices are heard by professionals and adults around them.
The session will be hosted by Sarah Parsons, Principal Social Worker, and a member of the Family Justice Young People’s Board. During the session you will hear directly from social workers about how they are using a restorative, relationship and strengths-based practice to engage children and young people, and the difference it has made in their work with children, and how Cafcass is using technology to support and promote this engagement. And from those involved in developing the framework.
Objectives:
Sarah Parsons, principal social worker, Cafcass
Barry Tilzey, assistant director in the national improvement service, Cafcass
Sarah Dickinson, improvement manager in the national improvement service, Cafcass
