Establishing Healthy Habits in an ‘Always On’ World

10/10/2023 14:30 - 14:50

The average UK adult has 12.5 hours of screentime per day; as social workers continue to work in a hybrid and flexible working environment, the need for healthy digital boundaries continues to rise to help support efforts of healthy work life balance, and good mental and physical wellbeing.

The session will:

  • Introduce the concept and importance of digital boundaries as it relates to physical and mental wellbeing
  • Highlight the need to set boundaries in an ‘Always On’ world
  • Facilitate a group discussion activity to identify what actions can be taken at an individual, managerial and organisational level to establish good digital boundaries for improved work life balance and good mental/physical wellbeing
By the end of the session, attendees will be able to correctly classify practical habits and actions individuals, managers, and organisations can implement to set healthy digital boundaries using the handout provided
