Advocate for Survivors of Domestic Abuse, Stronger Beginnings
Samantha Billingham is a survivor who existed in a controlling situation for three years and, like many, didn't realise she had experienced coercive control until she escaped. In May 2009 she set up Soda (Survivors of Domestic Abuse), an online safe haven for men and women to come together without judgement. She now travels across the country sharing her lived experience with professionals, including social workers. Web link: https://www.sodahq.uk/
