Nicky Ryder qualified as an OT in 2010 at Canterbury Christ Church University and went on to specialise in mental health, learning disabilities and neurological conditions. She recognised a barrier to independence emerging across practices ' supporting decision making ' and undertook roles, independent study and training to expand her knowledge.
