Michael Barrett is a director and specialist Court of Protection solicitor working in London and across southern England. He is regularly instructed by advocates, the Official Solicitor and family members to represent clients in the Court of Protection concerning a variety of different legal issues including hoarding disorder. He is ranked in the Legal 500 directory. He was instructed by the Official Solicitor in the hoarding case of A Local Authority v X (by her litigation friend the Official Solicitor) [2023] EWCOP 64.
