Jo Williams
Jo Williams is a social work consultant with over 30 years’ experience in social work and social care settings with children and adults. A significant passion is reflective practice with the emotional and psycho-social landscape of supervision being a practice and research interest. She previously worked at the Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust as the delivery lead for the national, Department for Education-funded Practice Supervisor Development Programme. She now works as an independent supervisor, coach, facilitator and trainer and offers safe and containing reflective spaces to individuals and groups to help them to make sense of the complex feelings and dilemmas which arise from their practice. She draws on a range of key theoretical frameworks such as systemic practice, psycho-analytical, psychodynamic, relationship-based, restorative practice and leadership models.
