Supervision is the golden thread that ensures quality of practice and the wellbeing of the workforce. It is the pinnacle of importance of tools and approaches to support social work practice. Within an ever-shifting policy, legislative and practice landscape and the additional challenges posed by the pandemic, Essex practice leaders will share how within children’s social care using a new practice framework we have evolved our approach to systemic, relationship-based supervision. The session will reflect on and bring critical thinking to the pressing needs to expand and develop practice, professional development and support staff in their wellbeing.
