Making a success of NAAS in your workplace (INVITE ONLY)

The national assessment and accreditation system (NAAS) for social workers and supervisors in children’s services is due to be rolled out next spring, having been tested in 56, over one-third, of English local authorities.

Among the stated benefits of the system for employers is helping them identify the development needs of their workforce so that they can target their training offer, but it also makes various requirements of leaders in relation to their approach to continuing professional development.

In this invite-only session, hosted by Community Care Inform, a panel of leaders in NAAS authorities will:

  • Share their and their workforce’s experience of going through NAAS
  • Identify factors that have helped and hindered the implementation of NAAS
  • Discuss the impact of NAAS on the quality of practice
