Masterclass: Quest: a focus on race in our workforce by our workforce

Essex County Council Adult Social Care went on a quest to explore the discriminations and disparities experienced by its workforce. In this masterclass, the volunteers who went on this quest journey will talk about the challenges and the recommendations they have made to address these disparities.  

Learning outcomes:

• To understand the inequalities that ethnically minoritised Adult Social Care employees in Essex County Council have experienced.
• Identifying the themes from the findings of the Quest.
• To share the recommendations made by the Questers to improve the Adult Social Care function to become a racially-friendly working environment for employees.
