Children and Families
Social workers have been in the frontline of the government’s attempts to create a hostile environment for asylum seekers and refugees. This workshop will help social workers in promoting the interests of refugee and migrant children and their families. It will outline the law in England, give an overview of the issues affecting refugee and migrant children in the UK and identify common themes related to providing support to them from a social work context.
