This session will introduce neurodiversity and its vital role in the social work workforce and explore different neurotypes, their strength and challenges. It will look at how as a profession we can work towards a culture change embedded in psychological safety to ensure we create inclusive spaces for neurodivergent social workers and, importantly, the people we work with. Attend this session to: • Be able to recognise a range of different neurotypes • Understand the challenges faced by neurodivergent social workers • Learn what changes you can make within your practice/organisation to create inclusive spaces for neurodivergent colleagues
