Understanding your Workforce: Research Insights to Support Recruitment and Learning
An exploration of the latest research from Community Care, focused on the evolving landscape of social care recruitment, career development, and continuous learning. Drawing on annual surveys of thousands of social work professionals, this session will uncover what truly matters to today’s workforce and how organisations can respond effectively.
We’ll share insights from two of our key research streams:
Learning Landscapes: Discover how social workers prefer to learn, what they expect from professional development opportunities including protected time, how current time pressures are impacting learning and supporting neurodivergent learners.
Jobseeker Behaviour: Understand what attracts social workers to roles, why they leave and what motivates them to stay.
This session is ideal for those involved in learning and development and recruitment as well as managers and those that have an interest in workforce wellbeing around learning, recruitment and retention.
