Data shows around half of child sexual abuse happens in the family environment yet, despite the vital role social workers play in identifying and responding to children at risk of harm, practice remains fraught with challenges. What are these challenges? And how does the Child Safeguarding Practice Review Panel's report on child sexual abuse in the family environment help us address them? This session helps social workers find out what they can do in response.
Attend this session to:

- Understand how the recommendations of the national panel report can support practice and change culture
- Gain insight into the challenges in practice and how to overcome them
