This session will describe how the principal social worker (PSW) and principal occupational therapist (POT) are promoting movement and physical activity as a tool for social care professionals to support people in Essex to achieve greater choice and control over their lives in a sustainable way. It will showcase the power of movement and physical activity to transform lives in social care.

- Understand how the PSW and POT in Essex have used the research and evidence to help social care professionals recognise their vital role in promoting health and wellbeing through movement and physical activity for the people they support
