Over a brew: co-producing care and support in Essex

07 Oct 2025
Essex Theatre
Adults

Essex have been working with Curators of Change and ADASS East over the last two years to create ‘Over a Brew’ virtual sessions. The sessions provide an honest space for people who draw on care and support, commissioners and providers to come together and discuss a wide range of pertinent topics and issues such as, supporting carers, diversity and equality and the ethical use of AI.

This session will discuss the approach, hear stories from key people involved and highlight tools and techniques to demonstrate how this movement can grow and have a positive impact on the experience of people accessing social care in our communities.

Speakers
Jon Dickinson, director, Adult Social Care - Essex County Council
Natasha Burberry, ADASS East & Curators of Change Collective - Essex County Council
