Advancing anti-racism in practice with children and families and within the workforce: a panel discussion on approaches for lasting change

This panel discussion brings together practitioners, leaders, and advocates to explore how anti-racist approaches can be effectively integrated into both frontline work with children and families and the structures of the workforce itself.

Learning outcomes:

  • The lessons from the Child Safeguarding Practice Review Panel report on the impact of race, ethnicity and culture on multi-agency practice where children have died or suffered serious harm
  • The sharing of lived experiences, and lessons learned in advancing racial equity across both practice with children and families and organisational culture
  • Insight into actionable strategies for addressing systemic racism and fostering inclusive work environments
