Thank you note from The College of Social Work, Partner of Community Care Live 2011

As main partners of Community Care Live 2011, we wanted to take this opportunity to express our sincere thanks to the Community Care events team, who worked tirelessly to produce a really exciting and successful event.

We were delighted to have played such a key role in shaping this year’s programme and supporting social work professionals in a number of new and innovative ways.

A huge thank you to you all for your enthusiasm and for sharing your honest views about the new College of Social Work. By taking part in our workshops and debates, picking up a paintbrush at our interactive artwork sessions and visiting our Advice Clinic, you have given us a real feel for how you envisage a College of Social Work supporting lasting positive change for the social work profession.

As most of you are aware, we’ve  now signed a Memorandum of Understanding with BASW and are taking positive steps towards creating a single College of Social Work. We hope that you’ll support us and give us your honest feedback throughout this process. Your involvement is invaluable and will help us to develop an organisation which will support, guide and represent you throughout your career

Please visit our website, where we’ll be producing new FAQs based on the questions and concerns that emerged at the Advice Clinic, as well as a full report and analysis from Deadcatdreaming, our artwork facilitation team.

If you have any questions in the meantime, please feel free to call us on 020 7089 6840 or email collegeinfo@scie.org.uk

 Best wishes
